Don’t let Coronavirus hamper your festivities – it’s St. Patrick’s Day after all! So here’s our favourite Irish coffee to keep you merry.
This recipe was created by Martin Hudak, international bartender of the year 2019 and global coffee ambassador for Mr Black Spirits.
40ml Mr Black Coffee amaro
30g floral honey
170g freshly brewed coffee (ideally a natural process, full-bodied coffee)
80ml mandarin cream (blend 30ml mandarin liqueur with 150ml almond cream, then shake until well mixed and refrigerate)
add the amaro and honey to the coffee and stir gently until mixed. Pour into an Irish coffee mug, then spoon a layer of mandarin cream on top. Sprinkle with grated dark chocolate.
